Subject: web2c-6.1 compilition promblems on IBM RS 6000

I get some wierd errors in my compiling of web2-6.1 on IBM RS 6000
Model 540 but works fine on HP 9000/755 and Sun Sparc station, so there
must be something wrong with web2c setup on the RS 6000. I'm using
internal cc compiler from AIX on RS 6000 but gcc on the HP and the
Sparc. Could the diffrence lay in using AIX compiler instead of gcc
and does it mean that I must get gcc for the RS 6000?
After each error I continue just like nothing has happen, and I end up
compiling the whole thing running initex and making the format files
for Plain TeX and LaTeX without any problems. Now the question is
whether I should trust this compilition or should I try a diffrent setup
for the RS 6000?
